The INVITE project held its final Project Meeting and Steering Committee Meeting on 9 September 2026 In Zadar, Croatia, hosted by the University of Zadar. The meeting took place as part of the final event of the project – Learning Expedition and brought together project partners for an in-person review of the work carried outh throughout the project, as well as for the planning of the remaining activities before the project’s official completion.
Throughout the meeting, partners reflected on the progress achieved across all project work packages and discussed the main outputs developed during the project implementation. The session provided an opportunity to summarize the work completed so far, including the development of the INVITE Curriculum and Open Educational Resources, teacher training activities, the Social Innovation Toolkit, the establishment and implementation of the student Social Innovation Incubators, and communication and dissemination activities.
Special focus was placed on the activities leading to the final implementation phase of the student Social Innovation Incubator. Partners discussed the preparatory work carried out by students during the summer, the structure of the Learning Expedition in Zadar, and the upcoming Demo Day, where student teams would present their inclusive digital healthcare solutions developed through the incubator process.
During the Steering Committee Meeting, partners reviewed the remaining project tasks, final deliverables, reporting requirements and dissemination activities. Particular attention was given to the sustainability of project results and the ways in which the INVITE tools, methodologies and learning materials can continue to support medical vocational schools beyond the project period.
The partners concluted the meeting with a clear overview of the next steps, including the finalization of project outputs, preparation of reporting documentation, dissemination of results and implementation of the remaining final event activities in Zadar.
